Today Kevin, Alice and our new journalism intern from Roosevelt University traveled to Olivet Nazarene University for a 9:30 meeting with four senior engineering students who will do a neuro-engineering project utilizing our trike.
When we arrived we said hello to Dr. Ken Johnson, the Engineering Department chair. He told us “Of ten senior projects that students could choose from yours was the most popular.” Dr. Johnson went on to say that all the projects were top notch, including some big name companies.
What this data tells us at HWI is that students are passionate about using their education to make a difference in the world.
These four students will work on this project throughout the 2013-2014 school year. We will share updates here and at our Facebook site. If you haven’t already liked us on Facebook please do so and tell your friends too.
