With the help of Kevin Nikolich, the HWI team has been able to develop three hand pedaled tricycle models to aid those who are physically disabled from the waist down. In her second interview with Virginia Beehn, on WJCH Family Radio from Joliet, Illinois, Alice Teisan informs listeners of the progress HWI has made since its inception in 2005. This includes working with 108 different volunteers, a partnership with World Relief DuPage, and the distribution of 127 bicycles of which 20 were repaired by a Glen Ellyn Boy Scout troop.
