This has been a busy week for HWI. On Thursday Ife Alade, a senior journalism student from Roosevelt University began her internship with us.
Then the very next day she went to Olivet Nazarene University with us. There we met with four senior engineering students. It was quite interesting to hear Ife’s first impressions about our meeting. What fun to combine students from different disciplines and from different universities together for a meeting.
All five of these senior students are participating in what is equivalent to their internship. They are in a situation where they are transitioning from a student to a professional. It is such a privilege to have a part in the learning process of these students. Each of these students brings new energy, and a unique set of skills to our ministry.
