On Monday June 24th Kevin and Alice left home at 5AM and drove 4 hours to Spring Arbor University (SAU). There we met with old and new friends. One of the old friends was Carla, Alice coast-to-coast cycling leader from 1977. It only took us 2 hours for 5 of us to travel the world through our brainstorming efforts. Pray with us as we watch our university trike consortium grow.
It is always encouraging to see what the possibilities could be when we let the King of Kings lead the way as we give our offerings to Him. We will continue to pray as we watch the Lord put His Divine Puzzle pieces together. It seems like God has given SAU some great brainstormers and it is a corporate dreaming process that Alice can say without a doubt that she thrives on.
Then on the return trip Kevin and Alice stopped to get some MI strawberries from Alice’s nursing school BFF Jen. Then we stopped off by Benton Harbor to pass off 5 trike kits to Jack so the We Build Hope team in Holland, MI can begin welding them together at their Wednesday night gathering.
Then on to IL where we were met at I-80 and I-355 with dark, dark rain clouds, a downpour and the witnessing of a truck that fell over a hill. Unsure how the driver made out. We made it home safe and tuckered out yet our wheels are spinning faster and further around the world now then back in 1977.
