All of us have a creative side! The Maker’s Space is a community creative group that explores the arts. By exploring the creativity God has placed in us, we have another avenue to get to know Him. This group meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, 6:30pm in the atrium of the Glen Ellyn Evangelical Covenant Church. All are welcome. For directions click on the link http://www.gecovenant.org.
On, Tuesday, June 18th, 6:30-8:45, the group will explore, “Is there a book in me?” with Alice Teisan, author and founder of His Wheels International, along with authors in the congregation and the Church’s writing pastors.
If such a thought overwhelms you, come see how to start, ask questions, learn some simple exercises which may help you uncover something new, or an old dream while you explore this artistic side. There will also be a time for discussing opportunities within the community and for the church blog to write down the daily stories of what God is doing among us. All are welcome, including friends and neighbors who want to write.
